I want to share a little bit about my story, Wish Upon A Kiss.


Lady Winifred Kingsley’s eighteenth birthday is almost upon her and her three godmothers have gone off overnight to one of the large market towns to purchase something quite special for her upcoming celebration. But as soon as they’ve gone, odd things begin to happen and Winnie suddenly finds herself alone and her life in peril.

Ardaric does not reveal his true identity to Winnie when he rescues her, for theirs is a chance meeting - or so he believes. But as the attempts on Winnie’s life persist, he finds himself drawn to the young beauty and vows to protect her. He will not leave her side until the fiend who seeks to do her harm is captured and Winnie is once again safe. But will his heart ever remain safe? It must, for he’s been betrothed since childhood to another and only journeyed north to claim his bride. 

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade marks the start of the holiday shopping season and there is nothing as beautiful as bustling New York City during the holidays. Glittering lights start to go up everywhere and store windows transform into magical wonderlands for children of all ages to enjoy. In the early 1900s genteel families walked along Sixth Avenue in Chelsea district, then also known as Ladies Mile, and stopped to browse in department stores that offered enticing fashions of the day. Even though our Black Friday is not quite as genteel, okay it's a frantic madhouse, but as we push and shove our way to special deals or cash websites offering merchandise at ridiculously low prices, there is still nothing better than gingerbread houses, decorations, or the smile on children's faces as they unwrap their holiday gifts. Happy (and safe) shopping to one and all!
